ALT DEVTOOLS · GET STARTED
Your debugging workspace, right beside your page.
You’re a few steps away. The free panels work without an account or a license.
Open Chrome Web StoreSet up in three steps
Pin and open the extension
In Chrome, open the Extensions menu (the puzzle icon), pin Alt DevTools, then click its toolbar icon to open the sidebar. If you have not installed it yet, use the Chrome Web Store link below.
Choose a page to inspect
Open a regular website and select it in the sidebar’s target selector. Chrome internal pages, the Web Store, and other protected pages cannot be inspected. Refresh the target page if you have just installed or updated the extension.
Start with Elements, Console, or Network
Inspect the DOM and styles, read captured console messages, or watch fetch and XHR requests. Reload the target page to capture its initial activity. Use Pause when you want to stop collecting new events.

Included for free
Elements, Console, Network, and Security. Open Settings to choose your theme, manage capture, and control your workspace.
Available with Pro
Sources, Performance, Application, and Device. Advanced inspection uses Chrome’s debugger permission when you enable it.
Already have a Pro license?
After checkout, Dodo returns you to this site. We verify your payment and try to activate Pro in this browser automatically. Keep your receipt as a backup. If the extension cannot connect, use the activation form on this site, or paste the receipt key in Settings → License and select Activate.
Need a hand?
No data appearing? Confirm the selected target, resume capture, then reload that website. Captured events begin after the extension connects; earlier activity is not recovered.
Moving to another browser? Remove your license in Settings while online to release its activation, then activate the key in the other browser.
